Description
The course of Radio – Operator of Short-Range (OCA) is required to obtain the degree of PER. This course consists of 12 hours of radio which include 4 hours of lecture and 8 hours of in-class practical training provided to the simulators of radio.
*If your degree of PER is prior to the new Royal Decree 875/2014, you need to make this course is for Pattern of the Yacht.

- The procedure Radiotelephonic
- Use of equipment in Zone A1: VHF, Portable VHF Fixed with DSC, Marker beacon Epirb and GPS
- Reception Party weather: Weather Stations, Channels and Schedules
- Communications Routine: Link Boat-Coastal and Boat-Boat
- Use of the Digital Selective Calling (DSC)
- Emergency communications: Sending/responding to Distress calls; Canal16 and DSC
